Reading improvement Programme (RIP) launched in 15 villages

Reading improvement Programme (RIP) is launched in 15 villages of Rayagada and Kolnara Block, of Rayagada District. On 14th Sep.2015 formally this programme was launched in BN Pur. In the inaugural function Mr. Keshab Meher (BEO), Mr. Gopal Krushna Rao (ABDO), Mrs. Mamita Huika (Sarapanch of Katapeta GP), Mr. Jagarao Saraka (President of SMC), Head Master and all teachers of BN Pur UG UP School attened as guest. Similarly in other 14 centres it was inaugurated by the concerned RIP volunteer, Community Mobilizer, Community Animator, SMC Member, School teachers and Local leaders of the concern villages. Mr. Alok Ranjan Dash (Project Manager, Shakti Child Development Programme) shared the aim and objectives of the programme. Mr. Keshab Meher (BEO, Rayagada) praised Shakti Child Development Programme for implementation of RIP and he also told that this is a good programme and this type of programme should be implemented in the remote areas of the block so that more and more students would be benefitted. Rayagada ABDO, Mr. Gopal Krushna Rao, also praised this programme and Shakti Child development Programme for the implementation of this type of programmes and he told that he is always ready to join in any programme or any campaign to create awareness among the students, parents and the community as a whole to increase the importance of education and to reduce the drop out and irregularity at schools. Among others the parents of the students were present in the programme.
