supported wholeheartedly by the dedicated Shakti Organization. The event not
only educated but also inspired the students to champion the cause of
eradicating child marriage and creating a brighter, equitable tomorrow."

Access to Justice for Children, in collaboration with Shakti Organisation, Rayagada, conducted an impactful awareness meeting at Rafukona Village,Kumbhikota GP to shed light on this crucial issue i.e "Every child matters", and it's our collective responsibility to protect them from exploitation and trafficking. Through this meeting, participants of that Village gained insights into the challenges faced by vulnerable children and the importance of raising awareness. Shakti organization , in collaboration with OPELIP conducted a comprehensive goat treatment program. This endeavor aimed to uplift the rural community and enhance livestock productivity, contributing to the sustainable development of the region and strengthening awareness among the villagers. With the support of OPELIP-CSP, this initiative focused on offering comprehensive veterinary services, promoting animal welfare, and improving the productivity of goats—a vital asset for the local farmers. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of community-driven initiatives. Through their dedicated efforts, the program improved livestock health, empowered local farmers, and fostering sustainable oppotunities to the Rural Communities.
On 14th July 2023, Shakti Organisation, Rayagada, organized a transformative Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Training Programme (NTCP) at Padampur Block, inviting all sarpanchas from Padampur and Gudari Blocks led by resource experts of DPHO & Epidemologist of NHM. This pioneering initiative aimed to address the growing concern of NCDs in rural communities and equip local leaders with knowledge to bring about positive changes in their respective regions. The event marked a significant step towards empowering communities in the fight against NCDs and fostering a healthier future for all.
In a bid to promote sustainable livelihoods and empower rural communities, Shakti NGO, under the umbrella of OPELIP, organized a significant initiative at Dhepaguda Village Development Committee (VDC) on June 10, 2023. This event focused on the distribution of new mushroom spawns to local farmers, fostering the growth of a mushroom unit and opening avenues for economic development. The efforts aimed to enhance the standard of living and empower individuals in the region by diversifying their income sources through Mushroom Cultivation. It is anticipated that this endeavor will open up new opportunities, benefitting not only the farmers but also the wider community as a whole.
Regular Health check up Programme to SC Boys Hostel was arranged jointly by Shakti organisation ,which was held on 30.8.2022 at Balashram in Rayagada by Health expert of DHH, Rayagada, This Programme focused on early detection, preventive care, mental health support, health education, and progress tracking, and the program empowered students to prioritize their health. By taking advantage of such initiatives, students can live healthier, happier lives and become responsible individuals who contribute positively to society.

In today's rapidly evolving world, it is crucial to shed light on pressing issues affecting the most vulnerable members of society. In a recent oath-taking meeting held in Kusumsila village, Medinpur Gram Panchayat on 14.6.2023 where community leaders along with AWW and WSHG Members and staff of Shakti Organisation came together to discuss and devise strategies to combat the grave problems of child marriage, child labour, and child abuse. The oath-taking meeting in the village served as a catalyst for change, igniting discussions on critical issues such as child marriage, child labour, and child abuse. The participants emphasized the importance of collective efforts, awareness campaigns, legal reforms, and community engagement to combat these problems effectively.
On this International Child
Labour Day, a ray of hope shines through the dark clouds of exploitation and
injustice. In a remarkable display of courage and determination, three children
were rescued from a bus stand in Rayagada on 12.6.2023 by the tireless efforts
of Shakti Childline. On this auspicious day, Shakti Childline received a distress call
regarding three children who were being forced to work at a bus stand in
Rayagada. Acting swiftly, a team of social workers, volunteers, and law
enforcement agencies joined forces to initiate the rescue mission. Let us work
together to create a world where every child can grow, learn, and dream without
fear of exploitation.

well-being of senior citizens in our community. Senior Citizens' Health Checkup
event, organised by our team of dedicated Doctors and Shakti Staff Members
which was organised on 11.06.2023. Shakti Organisation' is a
testament to our commitment to promote Senior Citizens' Health Checkup event in
Rayagada Promoting health and well-being of seniors in our community and gained
valuable insights into their health, receive expert guidance, and take
proactive steps towards maintaining a fulfilling and healthy lifestyle.
Health camps play a crucial role in providing essential medical services to underserved communities, particularly senior citizens who often face challenges in accessing healthcare. In a significant endeavor to address this issue, Shakti Organization took the initiative to organize a mobile Medicare unit in Sana Baleswar Village, Gumma Gram Panchayat. The health camp organized by Shakti Organization along with his staff coordinators demonstrates the power of community-led initiatives in addressing healthcare disparities among senior citizens, but also raised awareness about the importance of preventive care and empowered the community to take ownership of their health.
