Goat Treatment at Tarbel Village conducted by Shakti Organization under OPELIP-CSP:-

 

Shakti organization , in collaboration with OPELIP conducted a comprehensive goat treatment program. This endeavor aimed to uplift the rural community and enhance livestock productivity, contributing to the sustainable development of the region and strengthening awareness among the villagers.  With the support of OPELIP-CSP, this initiative focused on offering comprehensive veterinary services, promoting animal welfare, and improving the productivity of goats—a vital asset for the local farmers. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of community-driven initiatives. Through their dedicated efforts, the program improved livestock health, empowered local farmers, and fostering sustainable oppotunities to the Rural Communities.

Shakti Organisation's NTCP Programme Creates Impact in Padampur and Gudari Blocks



 

On 14th July 2023, Shakti Organisation, Rayagada, organized a transformative Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Training Programme (NTCP) at Padampur Block, inviting all sarpanchas from Padampur and Gudari Blocks led by resource experts of DPHO & Epidemologist of NHM. This pioneering initiative aimed to address the growing concern of NCDs in rural communities and equip local leaders with knowledge to bring about positive changes in their respective regions. New Spawn Distribution at Dhepaguda VDC Conducted by Shakti NGO OPELIP :-




 In a bid to promote sustainable livelihoods and empower rural communities, Shakti NGO, under the umbrella of OPELIP, organized a significant initiative at Dhepaguda Village Development Committee (VDC) on June 10, 2023. This event focused on the distribution of new mushroom spawns to local farmers, fostering the growth of a mushroom unit and opening avenues for economic development. The efforts aimed to enhance the standard of living and empower individuals in the region by diversifying their income sources through Mushroom Cultivation. It is anticipated that this endeavor will open up new opportunities, benefitting not only the farmers but also the wider community as a whole.

Promoting Wellness and Regular Health Checkup Programs at SC Boys Hostel,Rayagada


Regular Health check up Programme to SC Boys Hostel was arranged jointly by Shakti organisation ,which was held on 30.8.2022 at Balashram in Rayagada by Health expert of DHH, Rayagada, This Programme focused on early detection, preventive care, mental health support, health education, and progress tracking, and the program empowered students to prioritize their health. By taking advantage of such initiatives, students can live healthier, happier lives and become responsible individuals who contribute positively to society.

Empowering Sarpanchs of Rayagada Block: A Transformative NTCP Training Programme



  On 13th July 2023, an enlightening training program under the National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP) was conducted for the Sarpanchs of Rayagada Block organized by Shakti Organisation , Rayagada. The program aimed to equip these grassroots leaders with essential knowledge and skills to combat tobacco-related challenges within their communities. Facilitated by esteemed resource persons, the Additional District Public Health Officer (ADPHO) of Leprosy and the Assistant Magistrate for Non-Communicable Diseases (AM NCD), of NHM the training culminated with a call to action, urging Sarpanchs to step forward as torchbearers in their communities and spearhead the campaign for a tobacco-free Rayagada Block.

 Bissamcuttack Block witnessed an enlightening NTCP training program on 17.7.23, led by resource persons from ADPHO & epidemiologist experts, organised by Shakti Organisation, Rayagada. The training focused on building essential skills for Sarpanchs to address community health challenges effectively.  With expert guidance, Sarpanchs are now equipped to promote better health practices and tackle health-related issues in their villages. These grassroots leaders are now equipped to lead their communities towards a healthier and tobacco-free future. Their dedication and commitment will undoubtedly make a significant impact in the battle against tobacco-related challenges.
