In fight against COVID-19, Shakti with the support of CWS has taken an initiative to support 1100 nos. of poor families of Tadma and Gajigaon Panchayat of Rayagada district .Hygienic Kit with mask, sanitizer were distributed to these families. More 25 nos. of very poor and needy families were distributed rice and grocery items.
Awareness training for
4 days on Corona virus was organized at Nathama, Perigaon, Kolingi, Gadaba,
Chintaliguda, Ropa, Luhakhala, Singiput, Goudakhilam, Chakrapada, Hirsamayor,
Gajigaon, Gopalpur, Champikota villages. 25 nos. of girls also got training to
stitch mask during lockdown.
Staffs of Shakti also came forward to give awareness in every
village about hand wash practice, importance of social distancing and use of
mask and also do’s and don’ts to fight against
covid-19, during this pandemic situation.
